And if you’re wondering what would happen if an English student did Shakespeare, the answer is apparently ‘update her Tumblr’.

I wrote and illustrated this article - full piece here!
Last Sunday, an anti-transgender advertisement got a full-page airing in the Star Tribune, Minnesota’s largest daily newspaper.
The advert was conservative lobby group Minnesota Child Protection League’s response to the Minnesota State High School League’s proposed policy to allow transgender high school students to play on a team matching their gender identity.
Civil rights organisation HRC have condemned the advertisement, stating that it is “designed to play on dangerous, discriminatory and false beliefs” and fails to recognise that “transgender and gender-nonconforming youth are targeted for bullying, harassment, and violence at levels that are significantly higher than their non-transgender peers”.
In fact, the Star Tribune themselves quoted a trans* athlete as stating: “Conservatives are afraid of sexual harassment but transgender people are more afraid”.
And on the topic of smart people I have somehow convinced to be friends with me, I did this illustration for Conor's article about marriage equality and queerness.
I did this illustration to accompany an article full of truesay about feminism, man-hating and Emma Watson by my friend Sally.
This is an article I wrote and illustrated about non-apologies for sexism, particularly Fox News’s paltry response to the recent “boobs on the ground” comment about Major Mariam Al Mansouri, the first female pilot in the US Arab Emirates Air Force.
Things that annoy me more since I came out #1048
This is an article I wrote and illustrated about Ello, the apparently queer-friendly capitalism-smashing answer to Facebook. (I wish, friends. I wish.)
I’ve got 99 problems and caffeine is all of them
